{"id":12944,"date":"2013-10-22T14:06:19","date_gmt":"2013-10-22T19:06:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.lacasadelasorquideas.com\/?page_id=12944"},"modified":"2014-07-11T13:04:16","modified_gmt":"2014-07-11T18:04:16","slug":"cattleya-2","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.lacasadelasorquideas.com\/en\/cattleya-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Cattleya"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"wpb-content-wrapper\"><p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]It&#8217;s a genus of around 75 species. \u00a0Most of them from Central and Southamerica.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Cattleyas<\/strong> are divided in two groups:<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/www.lacasadelasorquideas.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/09\/Captura-de-pantalla-2013-10-22-a-las-13.40.43.png\" alt=\"Captura de pantalla 2013-10-22 a la(s) 13.40.43\" width=\"254\" height=\"317\" \/><\/p>\n<ul style=\"text-align: justify;\">\n<li>Cattleyas labiatas or unifoliate: they have 2 or 3 big flowers with wide petals that last up to 4 weeks. \u00a0It flowers twice a year.<\/li>\n<li>Bifoliate Cattleyas: have small flowers in clusters of 20 or more.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">The genus\u00a0<em><strong>Laelia<\/strong><\/em>\u00a0is commonly grouped with the\u00a0Cattleya, because the only diference between them is the number of polynya they have.
