\"\"<\/a>1. use a homemade humidity tray: in a shallow plate place pebbles or decorative glass and add water. \u00a0Place your pot on top and refill the plate with water when necessary, it should always have water.<\/p>\n

2. \u00a0leave a sprayer with pure water next to your orchids, every time you pass by, spray them lightly without soaking them. You can add a few drops of vegetable disinfectant to the water to kill any pathogens and avid contaminating your plants.\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0Airing is very important here!! – If there’s not enough ventilation, the water residue can become a focus of infection, both fungal and bacterial.<\/p>\n

3. use a humidifier with disinfected water near your plants. \u00a0Turn it on during the hottest hours of the day. \u00a0Ventilation is super important here as well.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>4. if your weather is very dry, take them to the bathroom with you while you bathe, placing them on the other end of the room, far from the shower or tub so they won’t get wet. \u00a0When you are finished, leave the door and windows closed to preserve the humidity longer. \u00a0Afterwards, it’s important to return them to their regular spot and procure a good ventilation.<\/p>\n

5. keep your collection together: they’ll develop more humidity and the strongest will help the week ones. \u00a0Be careful to inspect each of them before and make sure they are not sick or have pests that can be spread from plant to plant.<\/p>\n
